The Sweetest Day of Fall is Back! 🍎

On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, New Milford’s historic Village Green will welcome the 6th Annual Apple Festival, bringing a full day of fall flavors, shopping, entertainment and family fun to the heart of downtown.

And there may be no better setting for it. By late September, the first signs of autumn are beginning to appear around the Green, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for a day downtown. The Apple Festival is a chance to slow down, enjoy the changing season, spend time with family and friends, and experience some of the simple things that make fall in New England so special.

From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Green will come alive with vendors and exhibitors!

There will be plenty to see and discover, food to enjoy and activities throughout the day. Whether you stop by for a few hours or make an afternoon of it, the Apple Festival offers an easy way to enjoy the season while spending time in beautiful downtown New Milford.

Visitors can stroll the Green, browse the day’s offerings, grab something delicious to eat and enjoy the entertainment, all while taking in the atmosphere of one of New Milford’s favorite gathering places.

And the STAR of the show is...🍎APPLES!

Of course, apples will have their moment in the spotlight! Contests and the Apple Bakeoff will bring a little friendly competition to the festivities, adding another fun tradition to a day already centered around celebrating the flavors and spirit of fall. There may even be a few hometown bragging rights on the line.

The festival is also designed with younger visitors in mind. Children’s amusements and activities will give kids plenty of ways to join in the fun, making the Apple Festival an outing the entire family can enjoy together.
