2026 Apple Festival Canceled Due to Weather

The 2026 New Milford Apple Festival, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, has been CANCELED due to the latest weather forecast calling for periods of rain and wind gusts of 25–35 mph.

Mayor Pete Bass announced the cancellation Thursday, explaining that the decision was made out of an abundance of caution for vendors, participants and everyone planning to attend.

While we are disappointed that Apple Festival will not take place this year, there is still another great opportunity to get out and enjoy New Milford next weekend! Everyone is invited to RiverFest on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Young’s Field for another day of community fun.
