Weekly farmers market opens for season under blue sky

The sun shone for the first time in days Saturday, May 10, and it was the perfect start for the kickoff of the New Milford Farmers Market. It will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon on the Village Green and run through the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The market features vendors from New Milford or neighboring towns.
