Town to hold 9/11 ceremony
Annual memorial service set in New Milford
NEW MILFORD, Conn. — Members of the community are invited to attend the town's 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Thursday, Sept. 11.
The public is asked to gather at 8 a.m. at the memorial located in the Patriots Way Plaza.
The service will begin at 8:46 a.m. at which time the apparatus bell will toll.
First responders, including EMTs, members of the police department, and fire departments will raise the flag and the National Anthem will be sung.
Following an invocation, local and state officials will offer brief remarks.
"God Bless America" will round out the ceremony.
