RiverFest Returns to New Milford!

RiverFest Returns to New Milford, CT October 3, 2026 with a Full Day of Family Fun! 🌞🎆

New Milford’s riverfront will come alive on Saturday, October 3, 2026 when RiverFest returns to Young’s Field for a full day of music, food, activities, community fun and a spectacular evening along the Housatonic River.

The festivities begin at 11:00 AM, with plenty happening throughout the day, including live music, food trucks, family activities, vendors and crafts, community organizations, a beer and wine tap truck, and more. Admission to RiverFest is free.

This year’s schedule also includes several special events. The Color Fun Run begins at 1:30 PM, followed by the Hot Wing Challenge at 3:30 PM. Later in the evening, River Lights will illuminate the riverfront at 6:30 PM, with fireworks at dark to close out the celebration.

Live music will continue throughout the day, with performances by The Blue Yodels, Yours Truly!, Chuck Cundari, Don Lowe, Dan Sawyer, Ernie & Doug, followed by DJ Aly Sic taking the festivities into the evening.

Whether you stop by for a few hours or stay through the fireworks, bring the family, grab something to eat, enjoy the entertainment and spend the day celebrating family, friends and community along the river.
