Plant sale thrives even on rainy day

The day was gray and rainy, but it did not keep plant enthusiasts away from the Garden Club of New Milford's annual plant sale. The popular event was held on the Green Saturday, May 31, and drew a crowd.

Deborah Rose is a lifelong New Milford resident with more than 25 years in community journalism as a writer and photographer. Most recently, she served as editor of a local publication. She was appointed and reappointed as New Milford Poet Laureate in April of 2022 and 2024, respectively. She is a member of the New Milford Celebrates America 250 Committee.
