Friends of NMHS teen battling cancer raise funds for her treatment

New Milford High School students are supporting one of their peers, Noelia Camacho, who is battling metastatic osteosarcoma.
Friends and teammates held a bake sale Saturday, May 10, to raise funds for her medical treatment.
Noelia was diagnosed with cancer Sept. 23, 2023. Since then, she has had more than 10 surgeries, almost a year of chemo, and a half dozen rounds of radiation.
As of this posting, a GoFundMe campaign has raised $13,977. The goal is $100,000.
