Book enthusiasts take note: book sale!

FRIENDS to host summer Book Sale

NEW MILFORD, Conn. — The FRIENDS of New Milford Library will hold its summer Book Sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8-9.

The sale will feature an assortment of books, including non-fiction, fiction, trade, coffee table, paperbacks, vintage sci-fi paperbacks, costumes and dolls, and autographed books.

Chapter books, picture books, graphic novels, manga, non-fiction, foreign languages, “Harry Potter,” “Star Wars” and sci-fi fantasy books for children and youth will also be available.

The sale will be open Aug. 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. for early birds with an admission of $5. After that, admission will be free Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted for the sale held at the 12 Main St. library.

The next Book Sale for the holidays will be Nov. 21-22.
