Annual plant sale planned for May 31
NEW MILFORD, Conn. — The New Milford Village Green is a beautiful, manicured greenspace.
Come Saturday, May 31, it will get become greener, and be dazzled with splashes of bright colors when the Garden Club of New Milford presents its annual plant sale.
The sale offers a variety of items for plant enthusiasts, from beginners to seasoned gardeners.
Annuals, perennials, vegetables, and houseplants will be sold.
Event organizer said there will be bargain prices that “make it easy and affordable to spruce up your garden or home.”
“Whether you're looking to add a splash of color with annuals or invest in long-term beauty with perennials, you'll find fantastic savings here,” organizers said in a press release.
Garden club members will be on hand to help customers choose the best plant for their need and discuss a plant’s care.
Soil type, sunlight needs, and watering schedules are among the topics members will share with customers.
