Sixth Annual Stuff-A-Cruise Gift Drive at Litchfield Crossings on December 6th, 9 am to 2 pm

Not a sled but a shiny police cruiser will be waiting to be stuffed with your gifts on Saturday, December 6th, from 9 am to 2 pm, at the sixth annual Stuff-a Cruiser event to benefit the Town of New Milford’s Social Service Santa Fund. Join us, be part of this joyous, annual event cosponsored by the New Milford Police Department and Litchfield Crossings, along with the Crossing’s retail family members, Kohl’s, and Five Below. Cruisers and U-hauls will be parked and ready to be stuffed with gifts and goodies in the parking lot in front of Kohl’s, located in the Center.
Says Sgt Jim Dzamko of the New Milford Police Department, “With additional support from Litchfield Crossing’s retailers, Five Below and Kohl’s, this year’s drive aims to surpass last year’s success in providing for children and families in need.
“True,” he continues,” kids love toys, but they also need school supplies, backpacks, bikes, skateboards, as well as gift cards and cash. Even warm clothing like gloves, jackets, socks, scarves, and hats can make a difference and are welcome, but should be new.” Thanking everyone in advance for their generosity, he gave a big shout-out and special thanks to Candlewood Motors, located at 514 Danbury Rd, New Milford, for donating a U-Haul trailer for use at the event.
Adds Kristen Gizzi, Executive Director of Litchfield Crossing,” We are pleased to be, once again, sponsoring this generous community event. We invite and encourage all of our friends, neighbors, and the entire community to help us stuff a cruiser, and make the holidays even more joyous, especially for the town’s tots, tweens, and teens, the whole family.”
