The Barn Quilt Trail was initiated to highlight New Milford’s numerous existing antique and vintage barns and to draw attention to its rich history as an agricultural town. Nineteen quilt patterns on large wood blocks have been placed on barns located on town roads including Dorwin Hill, Upland Road, Main Street, Danbury Road, Wheaton Road, and others. A map of the Trail is available in the Town Hall.
